Why we need your Personal Data

We need to process your personal data for a variety of reasons including: 

to remain in contact with you in relation to your booking before your hire (i.e. to let you know of any changes prior to collection), during your hire (i.e. if we need to pass information to you – incident or poor driving reports, pucture / recovery) and after your hire (i.e. lost property, incident, subsequent charges), 

We will also need your data to arrange insurance for the duration of your hire, to protect our assets from Fraudulant Use or Theft, so we know who is using our vehicles and so that we know who is driving our vehicles and responsible for our vehicles at any given time.

Your data is checked against a national list of “Bad Risk Hirers” held and maintained by the industry. 

Who might we share your personal data with

In certain circumstances we may need to share your information with Credit Reference Agencies, the DVLA, the Police (i.e. issues relating to traffic offences, theft, fraud), Local Government (i.e. parking / traffic infringements) BVRLA or Prohire in the event of “Bad hires”) or Insurance companies (i.e. for approval of hire or in relation to an accident or claim.)

We do not share your data with marketing agencies or routinely contact you for marketing reasons.

How long we’ll be holding onto your data

We are required to keep hold of your data until any chance of an insurance claim (accident, property damage or injury claim), or driving offence relating to your hire has passed.



Must be 25-69 and come to our office with their UK Driving Licence, unless effecting their own insurance.


Bookings can be made by phone with card payment, or online. Confirmed bookings are NOT refundable if cancelled, or delayed or returned early.


We will hold your credit card details as deposit for any vehicle. We accept VISA and MASTERCARD but not AMEX. After your hire any aditional charges such as fuel, damage, late return or cleaning may be deducted without further notice.


Is included in rates with a £500 excess for most UK drivers, £1000 for other drivers, reduced to £50 if the collision damage waiver (CDW) is paid. CDW adds cover for Windscreen, glass and tyres which is not otherwise covered. CDW available to qualifying UK drivers only.


Return time is written on your Rental Agreement. Late return penalty is £50, hire extensions by prior agreement only (as another customer may be waiting!) Vehicles must be returned re-fuelled and clean inside and any damage must be reported. Cleaning charges start from £35, fuel charges start at £15 and are intended cover admin and the expence of sending a member of staff to the nearest petrol station as well as the fuel!


Mileage is included for most vehicles. Exceptions; Group 1 Cars limited to 100 miles per day paid, ‘£119 Deal’ cars limited to 350 miles per week. Excess mileage charged at 12p per mile.


Overseas hires are subject to a 50% increase in the hire rates plus a foreign travel surcharge.


Animals are not permitted in vehicles. No noxious substances permitted in vehicles. Spillages, leaving a stain, smell or residue will be treated as damage.


RETURN of vehicles is always to the location where vehicle was collected. OUT of HOURS RETURN is usually possibly by leaving keys in the Key Return, but a return damage inspection cannot be made outside office hours.

DAMAGE. The hirer has to pay for all damage not covered by insurance. This includes damage to tyres, wheels, trims, punctures, damage to vehicle interiors, collision with overhead objects and all damage caused thereby, negligence, wrong fuel, loss of keys etc. All costs so incurred will be charged to the hirer. Damaged or broken windscreens, mirrors and glass have to be paid for up to the agreed excess.

FUEL Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when taken. Vehicles returned low on fuel incur refuelling charge. Credit will not be given for excess fuel in returned vehicles.

MOTORING OFFENCES, fines and Congestion charging are the hirers responsibility. We charge £15 administration fee.

FOREIGN (NON UK) LICENCE holders can drive but may need to effect their own insurance. Details on request.
